Frequently asked questions
For golfers
Do I need an account? No. Browsing, searching and contacting a facility never require an account. A free golfer account will let you save favourites once that feature is live.
Are listings paid placements? Sponsored listings are labelled as sponsored. Everything else is editorial. No sponsorship is sold today.
Why are some fields blank? Because we have not verified them. We would rather show 'Not yet provided' than guess at hours or pricing.
For facility owners
What does it cost to be listed? Nothing. Claiming and maintaining accurate basic information is free.
How do I prove I own the facility? Submit a claim with supporting evidence. An administrator reviews it manually — ownership is never granted by matching an email domain.
When do paid tiers start? Not in this phase. Proposed pricing is published on the pricing page and is subject to change.
About the data
Where does facility data come from? Research by our team, direct submissions, and owners who claim and correct their listings.
Something is wrong on a listing. Use the 'Suggest a correction' form on the facility profile; it goes to an editor.
Do you have every Texas facility? Not yet. We are building coverage market by market starting in Greater Houston.
